Bloodsky sat by the edge of the swamp, looking into the murky waters. He used ripples to indicate if there were any fish swimming by, and when they did come by he reached his paw into the water and snagged them with his claws. He had spent the last few hours down this, and by this point it was almost sundown.
He did not want to go back to camp, for at camp he had no one to talk to and he was fairly distant from the rest of the warriors. He kept to himself and kept his mouth clamped shut when the other warriors were near him. So many of those cats were the ones who had doubted him for his injuries, and mocked him.
Velvetmoon's training had suited him well, even though she had apparently died. That left Bloodsky bitter, to have his only mother figure gone. But she taught him that revenge could be his. He believed it, too. He hit the water with his paw, snagging another fish.
