The broad-shouldered tom got up, his tail brushing the round ever so slightly. He looked around the area that his pale green eyes could see, the trees and plants in full bloom. It was a rather merry sight. "Riversong," he says, turning to the white she-cat, "Would you like to go for a walk?" Tigerflight thought nothing of it, he thought of it as a chance for the rogue warrior to ask any questions, such as the current well-being of the clan, or what's the latest news. His gaze stayed on the she-cat, awaiting an answer. ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- OOC: Yayz! Tigerflight is now deputy! :D

She nodded politely, and looked him in the eye. "I'd love to go for a walk," she meowed to him. She got up from where she was, and looked in the direction of the deep parts of the forest. She began walking, expecting him to follow along behind her. For a moment she paused, and turned to him. "How's EastClan doing, anyway?" she asked. She rather wondered if her former clanmates were doing alright for themselves. She may have wanted to leave her old life behind, but she still did miss some of the cats she left from time to time.

After a moment, the former warrior paused and turned to face Tigerflight. The question wasn't surprising, anyone would want to know how their old friends were doing. "Really well, actually. We have a new leader, Ripplestar, and I've been made deputy. No skirmishes have occurred since that battle with Southclan, which is good. The clan is doing well and the prey is very abundant." the Eastclan cat responds, his pale green eyes looking around the area. Surprisingly, it looked like a nice place to live in, despite the stories and creepy looking trees. For a moment, the tom thought about what it'd be like to leave Eastclan and find his own territory. No more battles, no more rules. He dismissed the thought immediately. He was Eastclan's deputy now! He couldn't abandon his duties nor his clan! OOC:

She wondered what had happened to the previous leader of the Clan, Hollowstar. She dipped her head when she heard that Tigerflight had been made deputy. "Congratulations on the position of deputy," she murmured. "I'm pleased to hear that EastClan is doing so well." She walked through the trees, noticing a certain strange look in Tigerflight's eyes. It seemed that he liked the look of her territory. She wondered if maybe he felt as though he wanted to run away from the Clan as well, and live life as a rogue.

[bg=white] . : T I G E R F L I G H T : . The Eastclan tom nods and continues to walk on, making sure he was always following Riversong. The muscles rippling under his tabby pelt, Tigerflight sprinted forward, claws unsheathed, and climbed up one of the trees. Slowing to a walk, he goes out on one of the branches, his pale green eyes scanning over the green treetops. "Does it ever get lonely out here, Riversong? It looks like you're the only one who's been here in the last moon, other than me of course." The deputy felt more kit-like than he's ever been. Right now, he wasn't Eastclan's deputy. He was a visitor to Riversong. He needn't be so serious and proud, he could be curious and playful. No reputation to keep. OOC:

"Lonely?" she echoed. She wasn't always completely alone. She'd had her fair share of affairs with various loners, and rogues as well. Nonetheless, she did spend a fair amount of her time by herself. It was true, she hadn't had any recent visitors either. "Sometimes it gets lonely, but I meet up with other cats from time to time." She looked around, into the woods as though she expected others to emerge from them. "They don't often make themselves known, but they lurk around in here. Not too many, just a few of them. Though... about a two day walk from here is the bay, where I've seen many a loner and rogue," she meowed.

You know, since you've been a clan you must've been used to being around other cats often." the tabby tom asks, knowing it'd be a very strange change if he had done it. The deputy sits down, his tail hanging off the branch. Pale green eyes scanning across the horizon, Tigerflight yawned, his white canines showing. He looks down at Riversong and flicks his tail, an invitation to join him. He found this place very peaceful. No apprenticesgoofing off, no elders complaining, no kits whining. None of the annoying noises of a clan to bother you. The Eastclan cat then wonders if his clan was looking for him. He was deputy after all. Ripplestar might send a party after him. But then again, he was usually out and about often, so Ripplestar might be used to it by now. Plus, Tigerflight didn't want to leave. OOC:

"It was at first," she replied. "But my belief that cats were meant to be solitary was what kept me going. Sometimes I still miss some cats I knew, but..." She trailed off. She joined the EastClan deputy where he had sat. He seemed to be enjoying the scenery. It had been a long time since Riversong had someone visiting her, and she wished he'd stay so that they could get to know each other better. She hadn't really spoken much to Tigerflight when she lived in the Clan. It was funny how she didn't get to talk to her clanmate until long after she'd left.

Tigerflight never really noticed this before, but his former clanmate was actually very pretty and nice. He must've been working so hard to become a great warrior he never noticed the she-cats of his clan much. The tabby tom quickly drops his gaze and looks away from the white she-cat, feeling his pelt prickle with embarrassment. He had been staring. OOC:

She couldn't help but notice that he was a handsome, strong cat. The deputy of the Clan would have been an ideal mate had she still been in EastClan, but she knew that this cat would probably never even consider the idea of taking her as a mate. It would be forbidden... or at least, she thought it would be. She wasn't sure, as maybe since she was a pure EastClan cat, it would be alright. Still, she didn't know why she was thinking so much about it. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to settle down. But Tigerflight was sticking around, and that surprised Riversong. She wondered why he found her life so intriguing. "I suppose it's just relaxing to imagine things," she meowed. "Even if the visitors are few and far between, I like to spend my time in my dreams."

"But, there's not that much to do out here. What do you think about? Since it's your territory, you probably don't get much company. There's nothing to really think about." Tigerflight points out, turning his head to look at Riversong. There really wasn't much to do. Prey was plentiful during this season, not many cats came around here, and you couldn't sleep forever. It confused him, there was nothing to really think about, unless it was what you're next meal would be. His pale green eyes searched hers for a moment, looking for any answers. The tabby tom honestly felt like an apprentice again, just goofing off with a fellow apprentice, a friend... A sweetheart. Whoa, whoa, whoa, Tigerflight! You barely know her, and she's a traitor to Eastclan and the warrior code. Don't be falling for a rogue! he scolds himself silently, letting himself look away from the white she-cat. He could've reported where the rogue warrior was to Ripplestar right after he found her, but he didn't. Why? Was it because he was fond of the she-cat? The deputy had always gone by the warrior code and would be completely loyal to his clan, but was spending time with this rogue being loyal to his clan? He was suppose to be organizing patrols and hunting and anything he could do to help his clan. Why was he here?

"But, doesn't that get old? Doesn't it ever get boring around here?" the tom inquires, still curious. He still couldn't imagine living a solitary life like this, unless he planned to travel a lot. There was this strange look in her blue eyes, like she was somewhere else, thinking. Of course, now he was curious as to what Riversong was thinking about. Tigerflight's green eyes only showed his curiosity and good mood, careful to hide all hints as to what he was thinking about.

She is a rather pretty she-cat. Her long, white fur. Those stunning blue eyes... he fantasized, unable to think about his clan anymore. The tabby deputy hadn't thought about what he wanted since he became an apprentice, he only worked as hard as possible to become the best he could be. He could, however, vaguely recall some of the she-cat apprentices flirting with him those first few days, but his lack of interest drove them to give up. Tigerflight couldn't remember the first time he ever thought about the she-cats of his clan. He never even thought about what it'd be like to have a mate and kits, a family. The Eastclan cat had only ever thought about was the welfare of his clan, their protection, and becoming the best warrior he could be, which paid off because he was announced deputy.

Riversong is still, technically, an Eastclan cat, because she was born there. It really wouldn't be against the warrior code.. Tigerflight found himself aruging wth, no other than, himself. No, no, no, no, no! Tigerflight, look at you! You are Eastclan's loyal deputy who honors the warrior code, you shouldn't even be here! Stop trying to find loopholls and get going! his mind hissed at him, but he didn't want to give up this fight, Whatever! What about what I want, huh? I've spent my whole life making others happy and protecting them. Why can't I have what I want for once? Isn't it fair? he barked back in his mind, his thoughts all tangled up. The deputy shakes his head and looks at Riversong. A big mistake. His green eyes could show some of his distress, for he had not recovered from his thoughts to have hidden it.

She did have to admit, that in between visitors, she did feel rather lonely. She nodded slowly. "Yes, I can't deny that it's lonely here sometimes," she meowed. "I suppose I'm fortunate that you came along. It's been a while since I've had someone to speak with." And he's a handsome EastClan warrior, she thought. She had thought of settling down, and taking a mate, but would it ever work out with someone who was from a Clan she didn't belong to anymore? She turned away. Maybe if she had stayed in EastClan, things would have been so much easier. Now she didn't know what she would do if she fell in love with a cat who was bound by Clan laws not to love outsiders. When Riversong turned back, she could see that Tigerflight looked stressed. "Is something wrong?" she murmured quietly. She wondered what was going on in his mind. She was wondering why he wanted to stay and talk with her, and why he hadn't left to go back to EastClan yet.

Tigerflight's pale green eyes flickered away quickly from Riversong, his head turning ever so slightly away. The silence dragged on for a few minutes, a very uncomfortable silence. "Riversong, I really shouldn't be here..." he meows uncertainly, as if he were deciding whether he was suppose to be here or not. The tom really didn't want to leave. Not at all! But, was this somehow betraying his clan? Would he really give up his good life of being Eastclan's deputy for a rogue who didn't believe in Starclan anymore?

(Sorry, it's a fail. My mom is being annoying.)
