The Southclan apprentice quickly shot a glare at Darkstorm, knowing he'd love to take Hickorypaw as a prisoner. She looked back to her mentor, Whitemoon. Silverpaw was lucky to have such a nice and wise mentor, even if he could be strict and annoying sometimes. "Shall we escort Hickorypaw back to Westclan territory?

He didn't like the way that Whitemoon was dealing with things, especially when he was very much Whitemoon's senior. "You're too soft. I say we bring the brat back to camp and get the glory for taking a prisoner," Darkstorm hissed. "One little apprentice isn't going to cause a war. As a Clan we have a right to imprison those who trespass on our territory. It says so in the warrior code! If they wanted to fight us for this kit, they'd be going against that."
He eyed Silverpaw with malice. If she was his apprentice, he would have had her punished. He wasn't about to let Whitemoon let Hickorypaw off so lightly. He also wasn't about to let Silverpaw win this battle. "You stay out of this, you snotty apprentice," he hissed.

Whitemoon considered both options, either he escorted Hickorypaw back to the territory he came from or get glory back at camp by taking the trespasser as a prisoner. He didn't want to start a war, but then again it was sounding like a good idea. He turned to Darkstorm and nodded, "Alright, help me take the apprentice back to our camp, at least for interrogation."
He looked back at Silverpaw, knowing she would protest. "Don't say anything about this, I just think it's best to maybe talk to Zephyrstar before we do anything," he meowed.

"But, but, but..." she trails off, her yellowish green eyes widened in atonishment. The silver tabby nods, casting a glare at Darkstorm. She takes her place beside Hickorypaw, but keeping a tail-length away. Silverpaw hangs her head, ears drooping, and tail dragging across the ground. She had failed her new friend, and now they were both going to ge into trouble. I'm sorry, Hickorypaw." she whispers to the Wesclan tom, quiet enough for only him to hear. Next time, she'd have her way, and Darkstorm would feel failure.
