She'd slipped out in the night from NorthClan and journeyed into the mountains above. This was where the voices had led her. This is where she was meant to be. She couldn't speak, but in her mind she whispered, What do you want? Out of the corner of her eye, she thought for a moment that she saw her missing sister, Teaselwind. Her heart skipped a beat. But when she looked into the water that had the reflection of the runestone in it, she could see the rune symbols glowing. She swallowed, her throat was sore. She saw in the reflection her kits. I have to give up my kits? You have to join The Silence. That was the reply. You are the Oracle. You can speak with us, the Fallen. You must leave your Clan and come to us. I have to give up everything. Silencefall didn't feel she could ignore these voices. She knew what she had to do... and she wouldn't be coming back to NorthClan.
