Any questions about anything on the site can be asked and answered here, either by members of the staff or members of the site who know the correct answer.

The camp of the mighty winter-furred hunters of the north. It sits in foot of the mountain, a shallow dip in the ground, rocky and gray. There is a system of connecting tunnel-like dens, accessed through holes in the side of the foothill face.

The foothills of the great mountain are NorthClan's hunting grounds. They are not very forest-covered, and foliage is in fact scarce altogether, but the crags and rocks still hold certain types of prey. It is precarious to ascend any further than the foothills and into the mountains, as rocky slopes soon become jagged cliffs.

Trickling down from the farthest reaches of the mountain is a rushing river of the purest ice-filled water. It is freezing, and the rapids have a very strong undertow. It is advised against to attempt to cross it, even if the hunting looks good on the other side.

This breaking-down structure was once a place that twolegs visited every once in a while. Now it is halfway destroyed, but makes a good shelter when one is stuck out in the cold. Just watch out for falling beams of wood.

In the fields that lay beneath the mountains there is a strange copse of trees. This is where the EastClan cats make their camp. They do not have dens, but instead sleep under the shelter of the trees at night.

Surrounding the EastClan copse camp in all directions are the open fields. They have tall, swaying grass, and trickling creeks that stem from the Ice River. It is a very serene and peaceful area, rich with all sorts of prey.

Bordering on the NorthClan territory is the Rockfall Cave. It was formed when a landslide from the mountains pushed many stones into a cave-like formation. It does not go very far back, but the rocks do house crevice-dwelling prey. Just beware of snakes.

This is a whole in the ground which was left when a meteor struck the ground. It is very deep, and there are few safe ways to get from the top to the bottom of it. In rainy seasons, it fills with water.

Deep within the forest that borders the fields is the SouthClan camp. It is located in the dense thick of the trees, surrounding by undergrowth and tall bushes. The dens are made of twisted, smooth briar tendrils. The thorns are regularly scraped away to avoid pricking.

This is the forest that covers most of the SouthClan territory. It is deep and thick, with the trees very close to each other, and the branches growing tangled between one another. Very little sunlight gets in through them.

At the edge of the forest, near the EastClan territory, there is a section of pine forest that was burnt by a lightning strike. Now the blackened trees ominously lay on top of one another, and the air smells like ash. Apprentices like to dare each other to climb the rotting, twisted limbs.

This was once an old twoleg hiking trail, but now it is overgrown, and the trail only fades even more with time. This marks the border between WestClan and SouthClan.

Deep within the swamp, beyond the forest, but just beneath the western side of the foothills, is the WestClan camp. They live within hollowed-out logs, and they don't mind the squishy feel of the swamp beneath their paws.

Most of WestClan's territory is made up of muddy, watery, smelly swamp. It clumps onto their fur and provides them with good cover for hunting the frogs and fish that live in the swamp. The only problems are the large, terrifying swamp snakes.

The tallest swamp tree, with twisting roots that go far into the ground. It is gnarled, and vines are draped over it's spanning branches. It is said that it has been growing here since the beginning of time.

Closest to the foothills is the tunnelplace. There are many strangely-shaped tunnels in the ground that lead into deeper underground caves. Going far enough can even lead one from WestClan territory into NorthClan territory.

This is a sacred place for medicine cats to come and communicate with StarClan. There are several, mysterious large stones that stand in a circle, presumably left by some ancient civilization. When the moonlight hits them, they seem to glow.

Towards the center of the Clan territories is a small pond, and in the center of the pond there is an island with nothing on it. This is where the Clan leaders, and two other cats from each clan who are chosen, come every full moon to discuss politics.

A very safe distance away from the clan territories is the Twolegplace. It is a very small village, with log cabins and humans who mostly only come there for the occasional ski or hike trip. There are a few established houses, however, where humans live all year 'round.

A day or two's journey away from the Clans is the Cat's Claw Bay. Beyond that is the ocean. Few cats from the Clans journey down here, but it is a popular gathering (mostly due to the variety of fish) for kittypets from various villages.

An enormous cavern in the side of a mountain, where the cult of The Silence make their home. The cavern is large, and goes very far back and underground. It is filled with strange mushrooms, and crystals that seem to glow.

There's something sinister about Midnight Peak. There's a constant eerie chill in the air, and it's said that glowing lights and spirits can be seen floating around in the middle of the night. There is a forest to the side of a field, dense with dark trees. Mysterious stones peak up from the ground in the field, laced with the stench of death.

These are the hunting grounds of The Silence. They are wide open fields on the tops of mountains, sprawling and filled with dried grass, snow, and rocks. The prey here ranges from snow rabbits to hawks and eagles.

Standing in the midst of a deep, dark forest, in the center of a glistening pool of water is the Runestone. Mystical carvings have been drawn into it, but no one knows who did it. The Runestone has been standing since the dawn of time, they say. Only a certain few can unlock the powers that lurk in the silence here.
