Horror crept over Viperpaw when Willowleaf pinned her to the ground. It wouldn't have scared her much before, but now she knew that Willowleaf had killed before. Still, she couldn't bring herself to back down, whether or not it killed her. She swallowed. "I don't believe I'm the one with the biggest problem here," she countered, trying to keep her voice unwavering despite the growing fear for her life. Willowleaf's words, however, hurt more than her claws.
"There you go again, mocking my lack of WestClan blood," she growled. "It's not like I chose to be like this! What I wouldn't give to be a full-blooded WestClan cat!" She had no choice in the matter, to begin with. She was outraged at the prejudice that so many cats in her Clan displayed towards her. It was almost as bad as the SouthClan cats would have been. "I don't want to hurt WestClan, I just want to be a warrior. I'm not a threat. I'm here because my mother was Damage, deputy of WestClan!" Her voice had raised to a loud growl now. How dare she question my right to be a part of this Clan?
Though Willowleaf got off of her, Viperpaw heard her voice and the tone it had taken. It made Viperpaw's skin crawl, and her ears went flat. She unsheathed her claws, taking a fighting stance. She knew the tone of those words. "You want to kill me?" she challenged. "Well, that's just great. Add another one to your list." Her eyes flash. See how the Clan reacts if you hurt me. So go on, try it, she added in her thoughts.

Instinctively, dagger-like claws slid out of their sheathes, glinting wickedly. Willowleaf's lips drew back in a menacing snarl, sharp canines showing clearly. "yes, you are a thread, Viperpaw. And, Damage had no WestClan blood, so it doesn't matter. She wasn't even a true deputy, since she had not taken on a real Clan name. I will kill you, if you pose a threat to my clan. And, you do. Just fix your problem and nobody will get hurt." she growls, her eyes blazing with fury and hatred. She would not let this brat hurt her clan. If Viperpaw didn't fix her problem, then someone would get killed, just like what Willowleaf did when she didn't clean up her act.(Fail.)

Narrowing her eyes, swallowing and trying to stand her ground, Viperpaw stared at Willowleaf. "Right now, I'm thinking you're the one who's the threat," she meowed. "You killed one WestClan warrior, and you're about to kill an apprentice, aren't you?" Well, not if Viperpaw had anything to do with it, but she thought it best to first attempt to turn the situation around on Willowleaf. I'm not a threat, this cat is insane, she thought.
When Willowleaf doubted Damage's place as the deputy of the Clan, Viperpaw's skin crawled, growing hot with anger. "Damage had every right to be in this Clan, and she was too a proper deputy," she hissed, doing her best to defend her mother. She wasn't even sure what a cat had to do to be considered a proper deputy, but she was certain that it wasn't Damage's rogue ancestry that kept her from being one.
"I don't have a problem. You have a problem. I just have a temper..." Viperpaw dug at the ground with her claws. "You are a psycho." She finished her sentence with a sneer.

Westclan Warrior Unwillingly, the warrior drew back and started walking away, towards a more forest-covered area of the swamp. "Whatever, Viperpaw. We came out here to train, not bicker. Just let me find a tree for a beginner, like yourself." Willowleaf throws over her shoulder, her gaze flickering from one tree to the next. The tree she was looking for needed to be rather subtle, with low branches and many grooves for an easy way up and down. The silver-shaded she-cat allowed her mind to forget the previous conversation she had with her bad-tempered apprentice, Viperpaw. if the brat didn't want to change her ways, then so be it. It wasn't worth fighting about. Not my fault if she kills someone within the Clan or something. I tried to tell her, she thought to herself. She, the brutal one herself, had backed down from an apprentice? No! She didn't technically 'back down', she just dropped the discussion to kick the tabby's butt later.

When Willowleaf walked away, Viperpaw sported an expression of smug satisfaction on her face. Great, won that argument, she thought in congratulations to herself. Her claws dug into the ground again. I shouldn't be forced to train with a psycho. She tilted her head, eyes shining. Oh, maybe I should tell Scarletstar that Willowleaf tried to attack me because of my halfClan ancestry. Scarletstar will believe me. She's a rogue; and she knows that Willowleaf hates rogues. Everyone does.
It was obvious that Viperpaw was planning something, because she was only half-there in mentality, but occupied being a daydream schemer. She half-heartedly followed Willowleaf to the tree, still caught up in her plans to get a new mentor assigned to her. She was going to get Willowleaf in trouble if it was the last thing that she did. She was still smirking as she approached her mentor.
"Right, right, show me this weird tree thing you do," she meowed. She was far less interested in training than she was in petty revenge.
