AGE: 27 moons
Diesel is a large, stout cat. His body and shoulders are thick and strong, although his legs are short by comparison. A silver-and-white tabby, Diesel’s thick fur is mostly white, with splotches of tabby striping that look like the swirls of dark, reeking oil he is named after. His tail is rather short, ringed with dark gray stripes along its length. Diesel’s face is broad and his muzzle is mostly flattened; deep-set, apple-green eyes show neither warmth nor light. Diesel’s eyes are dull and emotionless.
His body is littered with scars and injuries—the result of his Fledgling training and raids on different Clans. Most noticeable are the sizable chunk taken out of his left ear, and the two scars across his right eye and muzzle. He is very well-muscled thanks to his constant need to train.
Rugged and battle-scarred, Diesel is not a sociable feline. He is eerily quiet, offering no input unless necessary. He prefers not to speak unless spoken to. When not “working,” Diesel keeps to himself. He appears to have no real pleasures, although he seems to enjoying fighting and is always looking for a sparring partner. He is always trying to find some way to train himself to become stronger, sharper, and faster. Otherwise, Diesel finds a quiet place to watch the others.
While on a raid, Diesel is merciless. He doesn’t value the life of others—or even himself, because he readily throws himself into danger with cold calculation. He appears to do this without emotion… although he will occasionally show particular viciousness towards Clan cats.
His quiet, unsociable demeanor makes him obedient. He doesn’t care about being given orders. If something needs done, he will do it. Diesel is impartial and objective, making him a good, impartial advisor.
Formally Spiralkit of EastClan, Diesel was captured by the Raiders at six moons old, the day before his apprentice ceremony. He was taken in not soon after Sovereign Koschei’s implementation of his “destroy or assimilate” tactic. It was before trial-and-error softened the Fledging training just enough to allow trainees to survive. Diesel was in one of the first Fledgling groups, and one of very few to live.
His Fledgling training was brutal, leaving the young ex-Clan cat with a multitude of scars, both physical and mental. Diesel remembers little of his Clan life, his memories having been thoroughly erased by his Fledgling training and replaced with hatred he can’t explain toward the Clan cats. His training made him pitiless, quiet, ruthless, and obedient.
His training over, Diesel is now a full Raider. And as a Raider, Diesel proves to be a cold and efficient fighter. He shows no mercy, does as he is told, and asks for nothing more. He offers no kindness regardless of who it is.
