The black and white apprentice stared down at the water below her. She wondered now if she could ever return to her Clan. Surely the battle would be over by now, but what would they say when they discovered her and Thunderpaw's betrayal? Would Scatterstar have them both exiled from the Clan?
Her heart thumped in her chest just thinking about it. What would her mother and father say when they found out that their daughter was a deserter? That was no way for any noble warrior of a Clan to behave. She felt ashamed. Maybe she wouldn't go back to NorthClan, it was better they thought she was dead than though she'd abandoned them in their battle.
