DESCRIPTION:

Pelt: Duskpaw's pelt is a dark mixture of browns and black stripes, making him look much like the infamous Tigerstar. His fur is thick and water-resistant, allowing him to swim in water without soaking his pelt. He doesn't care for his fur as much as others might, but he does keep himself presentable.

Build: Much like Tigerstar and Hawkfrost, Duskpaw is built for strength above all else. He has powerful shoulders and legs, and although he isn't as fast and agile as other cats, just one strike from his massive paws could send a cat retreating back home. This is one tom you wouldn't want to meet in battle.

Eyes: Duskpaw has some of the most striking eyes you will ever see in a cat. Though his structure and pelt color resemble Hawkfrost, his eyes are most unlike any other cat's. They are a fiery orange that seems to shimmer in the sunlight; yet despite their warm color, his gaze is almost always cold and mistrustful. Many struggle to hold his burning gaze, and those who do are bound to never forget his eyes.

PERSONALITY:

Duskpaw is usually the quiet and solitary type. He doesn't like too much socializing, but he will talk to you should you need the company. He comes off as cold and skeptical at first, but once you get to know him better, he's really a kind and understanding cat, and fiercely loyal to his friends. To him, he would rather die before being disloyal to his friends, family or Clan, because loyalty is his highest revered value. However, he is extremely tough and can be a little too hard on others.

He's had his fair share of making others cry, but they were usually she-cats or younger kits/apprentices who aren't used to his signature iciness. He struggles with realizing how offending his statements might be, because he is painfully blunt. He states things as they are. In other words, if he doesn't like you or thinks you are doing something wrong, he'll let you know. He hasn't had many issues with confrontation mainly because others are too afraid to stand up to his mass, but he has never lost any of his past skirmishes.

He isn't all about brawn and brutish strength, though; he has a heart and a mind, and he has feelings as well. He's getting to the point where he understands how his actions and words affect others, but he doesn't know how to be anything other than his cold, overly-protective self. He needs someone to teach him how to open up his heart a little. But, should anyone ever take interest in him, they would have to be strong, because he can come off as rude at first. He needs someone persistent and willing to get to know him.

HISTORY:

Off-Forum: Not much has happened in young Eaglepaw's life. He was born Eaglekit to two young warriors. His mother passed away during the birthing process and he was raised by a surrogate mother who was also in the nursery at that time.

As a kit, he never really liked to play with others, and when he did, he often hurt the other kits on accident. The poor young tom wasn't sure how to "play nice," and because of that, he separated himself from society for the most part. He was very close to his surrogate mother, but he distanced himself from everyone else.

He was quite the troublemaker when he was young, and liked to sneak out of camp every chance he got to go hunting or explore the territory. Almost everyone was relieved when he was finally made an apprentice, so he could get out of the nursery and finally have someone to keep a constant eye on him. He's a pawful, that's for sure, but he is fiercely loyal to his Clan and would rather die than betray them.
