i have so many "favorite books" it's saddening D:
as a kid, my favorite series were Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, and Harry Potter.
Nowadays I'm really into the Hunger Games, the Gone series by Michael Grant, (one of the authors behind Animorphs) and anything written by Stephen King.
If i had to pick an all-time favorite... it would probably be Lord of the Flies.

Sil. Lord of the flies? DX That book was depressing and slightly terrifying. Lol
Also. I love animorphs. Until I read the last one by accident. That was a bad idea.

My favorite book is probably The House of The Scorpion. It's fantastic. Peeps is up there too! I really like the way every other chapter would talk about different parasites, it was really interesting.
Currently I'm reading something I found at the library called Soon I Will Be Invincible, and it's really great. It's got a neat writing style and great characters. (I am dying to know how it ends.)
Lord of The Flies is beyond excellent. I need to read it again.

I didn't say Lord of the flies wasn't good, just distressing. haha and yeah, thats why I like maximum ride. =D
Currently I'm reading 'a curse as dark as gold'. Its a Rumpelstiltskin spin off. I've started it like 20 times but never made it through it, now Its so good! I can't put it down.

If I hadn't seen Lord of the Flies on Tv when I was young, then perhaps I wouldn't have been scared away from reading the book XD But I agree that Hitchhikers, hunger games and many of these other listing were fantastic! In fact I very nearly worship the Inheritance Cycle and have ever since Eragon's publication. But another book that may have taken its place at the top of my list, though I'm not sure since like Sil I have far too many favorites, is The Warded Man and it's partner book The Desert Spear. Very interesting characters and both books blend into one another making them not quite sequels but not quite the same. Though Red Wolf Conspiracy and it's sequels are amazing and the Maze Runner series is also phenominal. I recommend them all if anyone is looking for new series. I have a serious confession however, I have not read the Warriors books despite heavy pleading from better half. Please don't hate me XD I may read them soon who knows.
