NEW! MINI PLOT
The sixth mini plot leading up to the full site-wide plot is REMEMBER US. The Silence have revealed their origins to Silencefall, who brings the news to her cult. Do the Silence speak the truth about their origin, their powers, and the monster who will destroy the Clans? Or perhaps it's the lies of bitter and ancient spirits who crave control and domination.
In the times long before the dawn of the Clans, it is legend that different felines ruled the territories. They were ruled by a cat they revered as their god, whose spirit dwelt in many vessels over the years. This cat was Ansuz, whose every word was command. Ruthless, vile and evil with an army and cult who followed blindly. The cult was known as the Silence, and led by Dagaz, their Shaman. His life and his death were dedicated in loyalty to Ansuz. When his mortal form passed away, he led the cult in spirit. His loyalty was purely to Ansuz and her right-hand, Kenaz the voice.
Dargaz always spoke of a monster in the mountains who could be summoned, a whispered legend that kept the cats of the territories bound and helpless. They feared the monster with all their hearts. But the cats grew weary of the tyrant reign of Ansuz and they rebelled. The cats of the north, the south, the east and west gathered together to fight against the powerful cult army of the Silence, and even Ansuz and Kenaz. They were led by a cat called Isa, and together they slaughtered the loyal cats of the Silence and banished their spirits into the rune stones of the mountains. Few cats of the Silence survived, and those who did were forced to join the rebellion ranks.
The rebel cats soon divided into four Clans following Isa's demise. The North was taken by a cat named Malenviir and his followers. The South belonged to Sowilo and the members of his extended family. The East belonged to Runja and her army. The West was guarded by Perthro and a band of dark, stealthy assassins. As time went by, the cats became more organized and adopted ranks. They called themselves Clans based on the part of the territory they'd taken. They had medicine cats to commune with the spirits, leaders and deputies to take care of the Clan, and warriors, elders, kits and apprentices. Their names became less foreign and they began to call themselves after things in the territories. They were given suffixes based on accomplishments, talents, honors, scars, or appearance.
So the cats known as Clans perhaps descended from those ancient cats, but is the legend fact or fiction? Could the cult of the Silence really be returning to bring back the reign of Ansuz?
With this new addition... - The Clans begin to hear about the legend and try to discover more about the mysterious Silence of the mountains. - Cats disappear from the Clans, perhaps as sacrifices or as followers of Ansuz. - StarClan is still lost but there is a spark of hope when one medicine cat receives a single word from them: remember. - The Clans are falling to pieces and are closer and closer to destruction, the perfect weak state for the Silence to dominate. But the Raiders haven't been oblivious to their tragedy either, and they continue to kidnap and plunder with the warriors nearly powerless to stop them.

That is an amazing twist. I'm so excited to hear more about the Silence. I love their backstory, if it's actually true.
