ECHOI won't fall down again.WITH tentative steps, Echo paced along the swampy ground at the Southclan border, though still well inside of the Westclan border. He made no attempt to get off of the swampy ground as he moved, yet he was clearly trying to prevent much mud from clumping in his fur. This was one thing he never really got used to while living as a clan cat- even though he could have easily picked a different clan.
But seriously- how could such cats live in these conditions? He would have rather roamed endlessly. Maybe he should have.
HE hadn't even planned to come to this area of the Westclan territory. He usually avoided it, even going against his leader's word at times, just because he didn't like the way it made his paws and fur feel. What had brought him here? Maybe it was a general sense of curiosity. After all, he hadn't been to the Southclan border in moons.
SITTING down on a mostly dry, decent sized rock, the long-furred deputy of Westclan brought one paw up to his face to lick at so he could clean the mud off of his whiskers. He felt impaired with such disgusting materials on what were like sensory devices to him.
HIS paw and face cleaning was interrupted as he heard something inside of the Southclan border move. Flattening himself to the ground, Echo's mouth opened wide to try and scent who was out there, his ears precariously perked.

The sun was high above and life was teeming to the brim in each direction. A slim, silver tabby was strolling along the trail that stretched along the west border searching for nothing in particular, but a small puddle in the distance had caught her soft blue gaze. She desperately needed something to drink as the only other water source she'd noticed was quite the ways away from where she wondered and the argument that kept playing in her head she'd had with her brother that same morning only made the she-cat feel more parched.
Her delicate stripped paws brought her to the puddle's edge and she looked silently at the reflection staring back at her for a moment before she dipped her head to take a drink. Silverbrook reveled at the coolness that greeted her pink tongue and graciously began to lap it up to her heart's content. Having had enough, she stepped away and sat with her tail curled around her front paws. Silverbrook wasn't aware that anyone else was near, and couldn't see anything or smell a thing of the sort, so she allowed herself to doze in the warmth of sun.

ECHOI won't fall down again.ECHO wasn't surprised when he scented another cat- a she-cat. After all, he was close to the border. With a wave of his tail, he wondered if he should risk crossing the border to speak to her. No- he could speak to her without crossing the border. Though he didn't care about the clan boundaries at all, he didn't want to risk the chance of being attacked. He would rather not come back to his clan with injuries. After all, none of the other cats knew his lack of respect for the Warrior Code and Starclan. He was very clever when it came to hiding that.
DROPPING back into the swampy ground, he padded forward until he was at the very edge of his territory, and he could see the she-cat. She was beautiful, and that surprised him. Had he ever seen such a beautiful cat? It was then when he noticed she was sleeping- and he knew he would probably go unnoticed if he did not cross the border.
HE had never seen this she-cat before- even though he often noticed other cats on the borders and eventually learned their names. With whiskers twitching, he crossed the border, ears perked to be sure he did not get caught by a different cat. With one unsheathed paw, he prodded her side gently.
"HELLO?" he urged, hoping she would awaken without having a fit.
