Koschei turned as Toadie entered. He could see just how timid he was to be talking with them. While he did wish to keep some kind of aura of fear, the good kind, from his raiders, he didn't wish them to cower like this. Maybe in a few moons, Toadie would be better about that. Nonetheless, for now he looked like he was practically shaking like a leaf.
When Rune suggested that Toadie go along with them, Koschei nodded with approval. "That sounds like a good idea," he meowed. "Do bring the little fledgling along with you. He could use the experience. Good luck on your raiding party."
He nodded his head towards them, and padded away. He turned back for a moment to them. "Don't forget, if at all possible, bring back some captives with you," he meowed. "Prey is important, but so is having more cats." |
