These are the guidelines for the character adoption board.
I. There are two methods of adopting out a character. The first one is the 'first come, first serve' method, where the first person to post asking that they want the character is the one whom it is transferred to. The second is the 'audition' method, where members who want your character have to post roleplay auditions.
II. If your thread is first come, first served, put a [F] at the beginning of your title. If it's audition, put an at the beginning of your thread title.
III. Once you have adopted out a character, you can't take it back. It doesn't matter if you don't think they're playing the character correctly, or some other matter comes up. You can only have the character back if they put it up for adoption and you claim it.
IV. Your character MUST have an accepted profile in the character database in order to be put up for adoption. This includes newborn kits and family members. Even if you don't intend to roleplay them, you must still make a thread for them.
Here is the code for adoption threads:
Character's Name: Link to Character's Profile: Audition requirements: Other requirements:
Character's Name: (self explanatory) Link to Character's Profile: (just a link to the thread that contains the character's profile.) Audition requirements: (optional unless it's an audition thread. Just any requirements you want for it, such as a roleplay post, or someone telling you why they want the character.) Other requirements: (optional, but not just for auditions. If you have a requirement or a specific request of the person who wants to claim the character, put it here.)
