It was rainy and cold outside. Mango did not even dream of going out in this kind of weather. She dreaded it, really. Rain was one of her least favorite things, which was saying a lot, because Mango had a lot of things she did not like. She sat huddled in her den, trying to keep warm, and trying to avoid the mist that was blowing in from the sea and into her den.
"Rain rain, go away," she hissed. "So that I can go outside today... and maybe catch something to eat."
The wind only pushed in delicious scents of fish. She was one of the fishing cats who lived by the sea. They caught all sorts of tasty things from the ocean, and the storms usually only brought more of the prey towards the shore with the current. That was the one and only upside she could see to rain.
She continued to sit and mutter to herself, watching the rain fall outside her den, with her body curled up, and her tail across her nose. |

The kittypet walks on through the downpour of rain, the waves lapping only a few mouse-lengths away from his white paws. Suprisingly, rain didn't bother nor scare Brewsky. He found it very peaceful and calming, unlike loud storms that scared the heebie jeebies outta him. The tabby tom trots on, the slightly broken bell on his red collar jingling softly, his head held high, tail straight up in the air. This was the most confident stance that the kittypet had ever poised before, he was usually cowering and shaking with fear. Then, he heard a slightly muted hiss and he immediately tucked his tail between his legs and slinked forward, the submissive stance that he usually had.

Mango's eyes glistened as she stared out, catching the scent of the kittypet who was walking by. She could tell just by how much he smelled of twolegs that he was not a loner or a rogue, not even one from the Twolegplace. She slunk out of her den, out into the weather she despised so much. Kittypets were something she liked to intimidated.
"Well, well, well," she meowed. "Who do we have hear?" She examined the little orange and white tabby in front of her, who was practically cowering in fear. Her eyes narrowed. "Aren't you a little far from your home, kittypet?"
She was amused by how submissive that the little kittypet looked. She barely even had to do any intimidating, he was already a frightened little thing. |

The tabby and white tom trembles as the she-cat pads over, an amused look plastered onto her face. "Y-Y-Yes, I am a bit far from home. It was raining and I w-w-wanted to see what the beach l-l-looked like." Brewsky stammers, his topaz eyes showing how terrified he was. By the looks of this cat, he knew she wasn't a kittypet. Oh, great. I'm gonna be beat up again today, he thinks, keeping his mouth shut. he hoped he could get out of this, alive anyways.(Sorry, I didn't have much sleep last night so it's a bit short)

She wondered if it was even worth picking on this kittypet, since she doubted she could get a more fearful reaction out of him than the one he already had. She didn't want to physically hurt the little pet, but she didn't mind scaring him half to death.
"Looks like your trespassing, little kittypet," she hissed, paying no mind to the fact that she had once also been a kittypet. "The beach isn't any place for you. Don't you know that this is a place for cats with sharp claws, and the will to use them?" She demonstrated by showing off her claws, which were very sharp indeed. |

Brewsky Kittypet Trespassing? He was trespassing? "T-T-Trespassing?" Brewsky squeaked, his topaz eyes round with terror. His brutal past and young age made him even more fearful of the stranger with sharp claws. How was he suppose to know he was trespassing? He was a kittypet after all. "I-I'm sorry for trespassing, ma'am. I j-j-just never got to see the b-beach before." the young tom apologizes shakily, his gaze fixed on the sharp claws the she-cat was displaying. She was toying with him, he realized. But, he thought it was better to just stay where he was than challenge the female or to retreat. Maybe she was just playing with him because the rain put her in a bad mood?

Mango smirked at Brewsky's reaction, amused by his fear. She placed her paw down on the kittypet's tail, though she was careful not to dig her claws into it. She kept a firm pad down on it however, making sure he wasn't about to leave. She wasn't quite done playing with him. "You picked the wrong spot of the beach to go and see," she meowed. "You should know that this is where the wild cats lived. You can't just go on tour here."
She was amused that a kittypet would walk from the Twolegplace just to take a look at the beach. This wasn't the first kittypet she'd seen around -- some of them liked to go fishing -- but it was one of the more naive ones she'd seen. He looked like he hadn't even noticed her scent markers. "How's your soft pet life, kittypet?" she asked. She vaguely remembered her own former life, but she pushed those thoughts out of her head. |
