Jagger rushed back into the camp, running on pure euphoria from his previous chat with Koschei. He was planning on proving to the sovereign that he was worthy of his affection. He looked around Raiders Run, looking to gather cats for a hunting party. Not even just the cats from his own squadron. At this point, he would accept anyone.
"Listen up!" he yowled. "I'm going on a hunting party, and I'm taking any cat from any squadron. This is going to be the best raid of our lives. Are you in or are you out?"
He waited for any cats to come. He knew he could count on the cats from his own squadron, but it might be more difficult to convince cats from other squadrons.

Gage heard the request from his squadron leader. He padded up, interested in what the calico tom had to say. He wanted to be a part of any so-called greatest raid. It would be a fine accomplishment in his life. He looked over and saw the small black and white fledgling known as Toadie crawling up along side of him. He scoffed at the younger cat, who scuttled away towards Jagger.
"I'm listening. What do we have to do in this so-called best raid?" he meowed. "If I think the plan is good enough, you can consider me a part of this mission." He hoped that Jagger wouldn't just order him to join whether he liked it or not. He didn't want to go on any mission that didn't have an organized and well thought out plan. It would just be a failure, that could get several raiders killed.
Kennedy was not a part of Jagger's group, though he knew very well that Squadron One was a powerful team, and one of the favorites of the Sovereign. He belonged with Captain Amelia, but he was sure that she wouldn't mind just once if he went off on a raid with other cats. It had been a long time since he'd been out anyway. //"What's going to make this raid so great?"// he asked Jagger, somewhat skeptical at the prospect, but still excited.
GAGE: "I'm listening. What do we have to do in this so-called best raid? If I think the plan is good enough, you can consider me a part of this mission."
KENNEDY: "What's going to make this raid so great?"
The cats who were gathering around him seemed skeptical of his abilities, which made him mildly frustrated. He wasn't one of the top squadron captains for nothing. He saw a few cats from his own squadron, and some cats who were from other ones. Little fledglings were creeping around as well, also eager to get in on the deal.
"We're going to take down the weakest Clan, and we're going to integrate them into the raiders whether they like it or not," he meowed. He turned to them. "Which one is the weakest Clan? I can barely remember their names sometimes."

Gage stared on with interest. So Jagger's point was to bring down an entire Clan and integrate them into the Raiders? It seemed almost impossible. Even the weakest Clan was still strong, and still had enough warriors to potentially tear them apart. It would take the majority of the raiders, if not all of them, to fight up against them.
"SouthClan, I believe it was," he offered. That was the Clan he recalled to be the most war-torn, and they didn't have very many members in their Clan. They didn't want to attack WestClan, though. That Clan may be small but their members were vicious, and many of them wild and half-rogue.
Kennedy listened, his ears flicking. //"Hm, I thought that the smallest clan was WestClan,"// he meowed. He could barely tell the two apart half the time, but he did his best to. He was increasingly more excited about Jagger's idea for a raid. It would take many of the raiders to do so. He wondered if Koschei had endorsed this idea, or if Captain Jagger had gone off about this own his own. He blinked, staring up at the other cat. //"How many cats need to go with us?"// he asked.
KENNEDY: "Hm, I thought that the smallest clan was WestClan. How many cats need to go with us?"
The captain grumbled just a little. "WestClan, SouthClan, they're all the same thing." He paused as Kennedy continued, raising the issue of just how many raiders they would need to take along. He paused in thought for a moment. His tail swished back and forth impatiently. He was never any good at calculating numbers. "At least five," he blurted out.
Thinking he might have just made a fool out of himself, he back peddled, "Maybe lots more." He narrowed his eyes, staring at the gathering cats. I need someone else to help me with this, but I don't want it to be obvious that they're helping me with this, he thought.

Gage rolled his eyes. Jagger wasn't always the sharpest knife in the drawer. He was ambitious, charismatic, and always on top of things, but smarts... he seemed to be lacking in sometimes. He always demanded adoration from the other cats and that grew tiresome. I'm going to go through with this anyway. If Jagger is on the level, maybe this can be to my advantage.
"WestClan, then," meowed Gage, eyeing Kennedy. "There's no point in going with the strongest clan first. We want to strike at the weakest points." The fact that the raiders knew very little about the clans, save for the cats with clan backgrounds, made it a little bit diffcult to figure these things out.
As the gingery tabby she-cat sat nearby, all she could do was scoff at Captain Jagger's lofty plans. He doesn't have the balls, she thought. That's hardly a joke, as well. She knew very well that the calico tom cat was quite sterile, and at every opportunity she used that fact to make scathing remarks at his expense.
"Getting together a little raiding party, Jagger?" she hissed. "How cute." Her tone was purely condescending, and her eyes glinted as she stared at the calico tom. "Are you once again trying to earn the affection of our great Sovereign? Pathetic." She couldn't help but mock him. His plans were ridiculous.
Amelia looked at Kennedy and rolled her eyes. "I thought better of you, Kennedy," she meowed. "I didn't know you'd listen to the half-wit plans of this mousebrain."
Kennedy licked his lips and snickered a little as his captain, Amelia, came by. She had a few choice, dry words for Jagger. She had no sense of humor, and was not at all amused by the fact that Jagger wanted to pull off one of the largest raids of all time. He sneered, wondering whose side to take. //"I'm just here for the amusement of it, my dear Captain,"// he meowed to Amelia. //"I want to see where this goes. Why don't you join us?"//
GAGE: "WestClan, then. There's no point in going with the strongest clan first. We want to strike at the weakest points."
CAPTAIN AMELIA: "Getting together a little raiding party, Jagger? How cute. Are you once again trying to earn the affection of our great Sovereign? Pathetic."
Jagger hissed when Captain Amelia walked onto the scene. The raiding parties that they led respectively had a well known rivalry with one another. The calico tom stared her down, his blue eyes intense. "You're only jealous. I'm doing this because I have earned the affection of the Sovereign already. He told me just how much he adores me." He swaggered up and got up in her face, baring his teeth. "Don't give me these stoic, dry remarks. Koschei is my mate now, so I'm almost as high in rank as sovereign now!" He blurted everything out proudly.
Gage looked over to Amelia, not surprised that she was speaking up about the whole affair. In fact, he would have expected her there earlier. Jagger and Amelia's rivalry was no secret. He was intrigued by their exchange of words. But his ears flicked when he heard that one word. Mate.
"Mate?" he repeated in disbelief. The seal point tom stared up at the calico, hardly able to process what he was hearing. Things are just getting odder around here. Koschei never even displayed any real interest in Jagger outside of wanting him to do things for him. He blinked his solid blue eyes. "You must be joking."
For once in her life, Amelia almost wanted to laugh out loud at something. She'd never heard such a ridiculous statement in her life. Every cat knew that Jagger wanted Koschei was such fervor, but every at also happened to know that the sovereign would not return the favor in a thousand seasons. Jagger's finally gone off the deep end.
She stared at him intently. "Fascinating news, Jagger," she remarked. "Why don't you just find Koschei and get him to just confirm the whole thing with us? I'm sure he'd be pleased to announce such a thing." She has somewhat of a dark gleam in her eyes. She knew that if he were lying, this would get him in a lot of trouble.
Kennedy was practically howling with laughter, falling onto his side and rolling around on his back while kicking all his legs in the air. Captain Amelia's comments had only added to the hilarity of the situation. Jagger's finally lost it. He finally thinks that Koschei actually returns his feelings. He was practically ready to burst with all of the amusement he was experiencing over Jagger's ever so serious announcement. //"This is just too good,"// he purred.
Jagger grew hot under his fur from the mocking. He bared his teeth with ferocity and growled at them. "It's true," he spat. He turned to Amelia with fury in his blue eyes. "If you want Koschei to confirm it, then I will have him confirm it. He will be more than willing to do that for me, because he loves me." He was practically shaking with rage at the disbelief of the other cats. They knew that one way to get under his skin was to taunt him about Koschei. This time they were all wrong though. The sovereign loved him, and that was true.
He growled to himself again before lifting his head and letting out a yowl, "Sovereign Koschei!" he called. "Sovereign!" He waited for the odd-eyed cat to show up, looking with smugness towards the other raiders. He was about to prove them so very wrong.
